Among many of the health benefits of tea comes a new study that shoes drinking three cups of tea per day can effectively reduce the risk of breast cancer in young women

Savannah, Georgia (CaymanMama.com) — Among many of the health benefits of tea comes a new study that shoes drinking three cups of tea per day can effectively reduce the risk of breast cancer in young women.

The research findings showed that the possibility of developing a tumor drop by approximately 37 percent in women under 50 who drank tea at least three times daily.

Older women who drank similar amounts of tea did not experience the same benefit.

“Researchers theorized that the anti-cancer properties of tea may have a more potent effect on the types of tumors that tend to grow in younger women. Although the health benefits of tea are well known, they have long been considered to mostly affect heart disease.”

A research study conducted last year indicated that drinking four cups of tea per day could reduce the risk of a heart attack. However, other studies have found that tea can protect against skin cancer, ovarian cancer and even weak bones.
