Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are calling it quits after 13 years of marriage

Orlando, Florida (CaymanMama.com) — Actors Sean Penn and wife Robin Wright Penn have been married for longer than most Hollywood couples could even dream of.

However, Penn and Wright are calling it quits after 13 years of marriage. Penn filed the petition for a legal separation, citing irreconcilable differences, on April 23 in Marin County Superior Court in San Rafael, Calif., according to court documents.

In the filing, the double Oscar winner requested joint physical and legal custody of their children, and that the court not award spousal support to Wright.

Penn and Wright have two children together — 18-year-old daughter, Dylan Francis, and 15-year-old son, Hopper Jack.

This isn’t time Penn and Wright have had a public dissolution of their very private marriage. The Penns filed for divorce in December 2007, however the couple formally dismissed their petition only a short few months after that.
