Dallas, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — The Food and Drug Administration has listened to its audience and is finalizing plans to launch a new and improved website.
By listening to their key audiences such as consumers, health professionals and industry representatives, the FDA evaluated answers and worked through collaborations with users through tests of side-wide designs.
The new improvements on FDA.gov will now make finding food and drug information easier to find and use for readers.
The FDA has created new features which will allow readers to locate information easier.
According to the current FDA website, readers will benefit from the following:
“Information is categorized by topic for easier retrieval, with related subjects consolidated in sections on the site, page design and navigation have been updated and are consistent throughout the site, and content has been reviewed for relevance, with redundant and outdated content removed.”
The FDA website redesign is one key element on an ongoing effort that began in 2008.
