Robert Pattinson clipped by Manhattan taxi - unharmed

Atlanta, Georgia (CaymanMama.com) — British ‘Twilight’ actor Robert Pattinson was clipped by a taxi Thursday in Manhattan, but walked away unharmed.
Pattinson, 23, is currently shooting his new movie Remember Me, and was exiting a bookstore when a crowd of teenage girls started to swarm near him.
The actor’s team of five security guards worked feverishly to take him back to the safety of his trailer, but the girls “were hysterical,” forcing Pattinson to make a quick run across a busy street, according to a RadarOnline report.
A taxi cab then slightly grazed Pattinson, the driver quickly braking to a stop.
According to Radar, Pattinson looked stunned, though uninjured, and one of his bodyguards yelled: “You see what you did, you almost killed him!”
A spokeswoman for the Summit film production company said, “Rob Pattinson is fine. The reports are exaggerated, and it was not caused by fans.”
