Wana (Dawn.com) Casualties reported, the military spokesman reported that Pakistani forces used their might to route out the insurgents from South Waziristan. 3 Taliban training camps were gutted, injuring and killing may militants.
Muslim cleric from India’s Deoband denounce Taliban action
Karachi (Dawn.com): India’s oldest and the most known historic Islam school in India has denounced Taliban actions. The clerics said that the Talibans do not enjoy any affiliations with the Islamic School due to their hard lined stance.
While speaking to BBC (Urdu Service) the head of the faulty at Deoband said that due to Taliban action thousands of innocent people have died and such aggression is not jihad, it can be termed as individual oppression.
Government accepts 125 amendments to the finance bill
Islamabad (Dawn.com): The trade and industry meeting with the Pakistan finance head ended with government accepting 125 amendments to the finance bill. These include reduction of withholding tax on industrial imports. The official from the ministry said that the amendments will be tabled next week.
Pakistan to face Sri Lanka in the T20 final
London (Dawn.com): With Sri Lanka beating West Indies in the second semi final will be locking horns to win the World T20. Sri Lanka own with 57 runs. Sunday both Pakistan and Sri Lanka will face each other. Sri Lanka had beaten Pakistan by 19 runs in the super eight matches in this tournament.

Karachi (Business Recorder): With Stock exchange closed with the net loss of 12.04 points yesterday. The mid day trading saw a surge in the index but the lack of confidence of the investors took the negative impact finally the KSE-100 index closed at 7,039.73
