The ovarian cancer takes its roots in the cells on the surface of the ovary and in the form of tumors that build up in the egg cells. This cancer develops with the appearance of the symptoms, at an elderly age of about 50 years, but a few cases have also been observed in the younger females.

The symptoms of ovarian cancer are as follows:
a) Heavy feeling in pelvis and pain in the lower abdominal region
b) Abnormal periods, and bleeding from the vagina.
c) Loss or gain in the weight, with back pain, that goes on worsening.
d) Nausea and vomiting, and loss of appetite.
Treatment is through surgery, followed by chemotherapy and medication. .
The declaration of the linkage of asbestos exposure with the ovarian cancer, has opened new research fields for its detection, symptom study diagnosis, and treatment study. Under this new vision and version, many complicated problems will be solved, providing a better ease and a comfortable life to the ovarian cancer patients
