Bollywood Actor Salman Khan “WANTED”
2009-09-28 13:41:26 (GMT) (Caymanmama.com - Press Release bollywood News)Mumbai, India: It was a treat to watch Salman Khan once again. This time not ending up in asylum like in Tera Naam but instead Salman is seen breaking bones of bad boys. With much needed break through with ‘Wanted’ Salman shines back washing off the depression from the previous flops. It is refreshing to see Vinod Khanna once again. A hard core actor matching the die hard image of Salman Khan in the movie playing father and son.
The hero of the movie Radhe, a super cop, a sharp shooter disguises himself as a gangster who works on eliminating who starts working for a Don and starts eliminating his enemies. Working undercover, Salman gets rid of many mafia people and in the process gathers more enemies.
Playing opposite him, the fans can watch pretty and young “Ayesha Takia Azmi” named Jahnvi in the movie. She is head over heals over Radhe and spells out her love for him but hates his killer instincts not knowing till late in the movie that Salman is a cop and not a gangster.
The story of “Wanted’ runs on thin plot and its anyone guess what the next move would be. With couple of songs excluded from the film, the length and story could have been more controlled.
“Wanted’ was released in the week to celebrate Eid festivities and the huge response it got within the week of release was unprecedented. The action packed thriller bagged Rs 380 million ($8.5 million approx) in the opening week throughout India.
