Islamabad (Dawn.com): Believing that certain clauses in the Kerry-Lugar bill that pronounces addition $1.5 billion non military aid to Pakistan effects Pakistan’s national security, the corps commander after reviewing the details of the bill expressed serious concerns. Quetta (Dawn.com): Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, the Balochistan leader and a well known figure’s death issue surfaced once again with the Balochistan High Court ordering the police to register a case against the former President Pervaiz Musharraf, the former Prime Minister - Shaukat Aziz and the former Interior Minister - Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and other for their involvement in killing the Baloch leader.
The interior minister of Pakistan - Rehman Malik - told the media that red warrants for those named in the first information report would be issued once the investigation prove that the Nawab Bugti was killed on the direction of the former president.
Pakistan steel mills losses - Supreme court of Pakistan order probe into steel mills affairs
Islamabad (Dawn.com): A loss of Rs.22 billion reported by the Steel Mills of Pakistan citing Global recession as the reason was the loss was shunned by the Pakistan Supreme Court. Stocks move up by 193.39 points at Karachi Stock Exchange
Karachi (Business Recorder): The bulls ruled the Karachi Stock Exchange. The trading session started with a positive note the stock moved up by 246.86 points. Later, with the investors offloading the shares, the share price index started to drop but managed to stay at 193.39 points with 9,836.50 points on board.
