Mumbai, India: An Indian movie of International stature, Road - Movie is produced by a Hollywood producer of internationally acclaimed movies like Slumdog Millionaire and many others. Susan B. Landau has partnered with the India film director Dev Benegal to make Road - Movie. Music for the film is given by Micheal Brook. The film is starred by screen sensation Abhay Deol along with Satish Kaushik, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Mohammed Faizal.

Road, stars Satish Kaushik, the well known actor whose performance in the British flick of Brick Lane brought him to fame.

Road, Movie - Is the story of a restless boy Vishnu (Abhay Deol )who wants to breakaway from his father hair oil business. An opportunity gives him a chance to break away from his father’s businesses, where he has to deliver a truck, an antique Chevy, that he has to drive across a desert and to the sea where it has to be auctioned.

On the way he discovers that the old truck is not merely an antique 4 wheeler but a truck packed with old touring cinema. On the way he picks up a roaming entertainer, a young run away and a gypsy women. The smooth journey through the barren land, searching for water ends up when they come across notorious water lords and corrupt police officers.

The rest is for the viewers to see. The journey through desert where Vishnu discovers love, laughter and life across the highways of India.
