Breaking News: Two shootings at Fort Hood Army Base leaves 7 dead, 20 injured

San Antonio, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — On Thursday at approximately 1:30 pm CST, an unexpected and fatal dual shooting occurred at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas, taking the lives of at least 7 people and wounding up to 20 more, the Army said.
An army spokesperson in Washington confirmed the base has been put on lock down and one shooter has been caught. The FBI dispatched agents to the scene for further investigation.
Army spokesman Lt. Col. Nathan Banks says the first shooting started at a personnel and medical processing office, called a Soldier Rating and Processing center, which is the administrative office for soldier records.
Banks says two gunmen were involved in the shootings, but did not disclose who they were, or did he give the identities of the dead. He said the second shooting took place at Howze Theater on the base.
The White House said President Obama has been told of the shootings.
