Portland, Oregon (CaymanMama.com) — Although she may not be a crowd favorite across the nation, Sarah Palin does have a small fan base and for those loyal fans, she is giving a gift - with a book tour.

While promoting her new book that comes out Nov. 17 called “Going Rogue”, Palin is embarking on an unconventional book tour leaving out the traditional stops for most tours including Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and other major cities. Instead, Palin set her sights on the cities where the voters tend to be Democrats.

Outside of a widely publicized interview with Oprah on Nov. 16, Palin has nothing else on the schedule for Chicago. Her New York stop will feature media appearances only. Palin’s book tour will have smaller stops such as Noblesville, Ind.; Washington, Pa.; and Rochester, N.Y.

“She wants to be unconventional. She is unconventional,” HarperCollins spokeswoman Tina Andreadis said. “She feels like this is where her fans are and Harper feels this is where she’ll sell the most books.”

“Going Rogue” will launch with a first printing of 1.5 million copies and has sat comfortably near the top of Amazon.com’s best-seller list for weeks.
