Sarah Palin admits she bombed during Couric interview

Seattle, Washington (CaymanMama.com) — Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is eating crow — and she’s doing it in a big way.

In an excerpt of an interview scheduled to air Monday on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” Palin said she knew that she had bombed in her CBS television interview with Katie Couric.

Palin said her campaign advisers assured her she had done well, but her gut told her otherwise.

The highly publicized interview with Palin and Couric was thought to be a major event in the Republican campaign trail, though after the failure, critics quickly dismissed Palin saying she was not qualified to be president if something were to happen to John McCain.

During her Oprah interview, Palin will discuss Levi Johnston, the ex-boyfriend of her daughter Bristol, and the father of her grandson.

According to the Associated Press, “She says Johnston remains an important member of the family and the troubles between him and the rest of the family can be worked out.”
