Fannie Mae appoints former Credit Suisse exec to its board directors
2009-11-27 14:34:19 (GMT) (Caymanmama.com - Real Estate News News)Birmingham, Alabama (CaymanMama.com) — The Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), commonly known as Fannie Mae, announced Monday that it has appointed Jonathan Plutzik, a former Credit Suisse executive, to its board directors.
The government-backed mortgage finance company said Plutzik will serve on its board’s compensation and risk policy and capital committees.
According to the Associated Press, “Plutzik worked at Credit Suisse Group for 24 years, where he served in the government and public finance groups before becoming a global co-head of the financial institutions group at Credit Suisse First Boston.”
In 2002, Plutzik stepped down as vice chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston.
