Dallas, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — In an effort to keep up with the face-paced, high tech changes of airlines, Continental Airlines Inc. announced Wednesday that it will now offer in-flight Wi-Fi on some aircraft in 2010.
The airline, based in Downtown Houston, Texas, is the fourth-largest airline in the nation based on revenue passenger miles.
According to the Associated Press, “The carrier said the Gogo Inflight Internet service will be offered on its fleet of 21 Boeing 757-300 aircraft that primarily serve domestic routes.”
Several other major U.S. carriers already offer Wi-Fi, while AirTran Airways offers it on all its flights.
Continental’s Wi-Fi services will be available to passengers ranging from $4.95 and up, based on length of the flight.
