Dexter’s Michael C. Hall reveals he is suffering from Hodgkin’s lymphoma

San Antonio, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — The bad news: Dexter star Michael C. Hall announced Wednesday he has been fighting cancer.

The good news: Hall also revealed he has almost completed treatment and his cancer is now considered to be in remission.

In a statement, the 38-year old actor said he is fortunate to have been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, as it is treatable and beatable.

“I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care.”

Hall’s spokesman, Craig Bankey, said the star will continue scheduled treatments.

The actor plans attend Sunday’s Golden Globes, where he has been nominated for best dramatic actor and Dexter as best drama.
