Country starlet Carrie Underwood to lend voice to the Super Bowl for National Anthem

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (CaymanMama.com) — Country music fans will take special interest in the Super Bowl this year as platinum selling artist Carrie Underwood will take the field singing the national anthem.
The Oklahoma native will be joined by rapper and actress Queen Latifah who will perform “America the Beautiful”.
Underwood joins a slew of impressive stars who have belted out the national anthem, including Beyonce, Billy Joel and Whitney Houston.
This year’s Super Bowl will take place on Feb. 7 in Miami between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints.
The halftime show will feature The Who.
The Super Bowl will be shown live on CBS.
