Recovering alcoholic, Andy Dick relapses, arrested on sexual abuse charges

Montreal, Quebec, Canada (CaymanMama.com) — Comedian and recovering alcoholic Andy Dick has had a checkered past with the law and it appears that over the weekend of February 6, 2010, his past came back to haunt him.
Dick was in West Virginia for a scheduled performance at the Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant, but police cut the jokes short and took the star to the Western Regional Jail at 4:00 am on charges of sexual abuse during his show, most likely due to drinking.
An eye witness told a celebrity news show that Dick – currently serving out a three-year probation following a 2008 arrest on suspicion of drug possession and sexual battery – was out partying after his performance when Dick allegedly groped a college-age male.
“[He had] one drink, then another, which led to another,” the witness claimed. “There was nothing sexual about it. Everybody was laughing and hanging out.”
However, according to the witness, the victim was not amused by Dick’s antics and called the police.
The actor could face up to five years in prison should he be found guilty of the charges.
