Mark Owen battles alcohol addiction

Montreal, Quebec, Canada (CaymanMama.com) — Mark Owen, a UK pop sensation of the group Take That, may lose his marriage in spite of the fact that he is seeking treatment for his out-of-control alcohol addiction in an effort to save it.

Owen’s wife, actress Emma Owen told a friend she may still leave her singer husband, whom she has been married to for six months. They have been a couple for five years and have two children together.

Owen checked himself into a rehabilitation center last week after admitting to a risqué one night stand involving 10 women, as well as taking part in one long-term affair while dating his current wife.

“Emma is absolutely mortified and as things stand she doesn’t think she can take Mark back. The sheer scale of the betrayal is so huge,” a friend of Emma’s told a British tabloid. “Almost overnight, Emma has gone from being in what she thought was a happy marriage to finding out her husband is a serial adulterer with a big drinking problem. … She’s scared of girls coming out of the woodwork and selling their story about liaisons with him.”

It has also been reported that Owen has been receiving advice from former band mate Robbie Williams who has also struggled with substance abuse.
