Islamabad, Pakistan: Senate debate lashed the government on releasing the list of names of deported Pakistani’s but did not conceal the names of the countries from which they were deported. Among other issues that came under discussion were human smuggling and jail condition where 437 women were imprisoned most of them with out court room trials.

Islamabad, Pakistan: The losing political party PML – Q candidate and ex-minster said that Mr. Nawaz Sharif is forcing confrontational politics and in such a situation the age of the parliaments will be shortened.

Difficult tasks ahead says Zardari

Islamabad, Pakistan: While speaking to the 45 member delegation of businessmen, Mr. Zardari said the new parliament will have to make some difficult decisions about the increase of prices of fuel and electricity. He said this task was left un addressed by the previous government and we will have to take some measures. But, he said, that his government will provide some breathing space to common man by way of subsidies so that they can handle the price hike of electricity and oil.

Karachi Stock Exchange end at lower notes

Karachi, Pakistan: Sentiments of poor corporate earning marred the market sentiments. The Karachi Stock Exchange faced a decline in its Index by 36.43 points but managed to close at 15, 056.12 points.
