South Orange, New Jersey (CaymanMama.com) — Reckless driving kills. There is no doubt about that.

In one such car accident, a teenager from Millburn crashed his Jeep Cherokee into the victim’s Nissan Versa. The South Orange resident lost his life as the result of the accident. The teenager turned himself in at the Millburn police station where Essex County prosecutors have asked for the teenager to be tried as an Adult.

The defendant faces four years in jail if he is tried as a teenager; if tried as an adult, he will get a sentence of 10 to 30 years, reports New York Times.

Venturing out in a car means that every driver, bicyclist, motorcyclist, truck driver and even pedestrian runs the risk of accidents and injuries. While fault can lie on either side, the injured must then face emotional and physical trauma, loss of wages, medical bills and hospitalization expenses. The insurance companies hedge around and try to pay less to the injured.

“This is the time you need to contact personal injury attorneys,” said a New Jersey car accident victim. ‘”I have been there and know how painful it is when you are broke and no one is there to hold your hand and walk you through,” he added.

If you have been involved in a car accident and need guidance, get in touch with an experienced and knowledgeable personal injury attorney. Injury attorneys are the people who could help the victim and their families through the trauma of injury resulting from an accident.
